Killer clown photo op
I patched the damaged areas of this clown with construction foam and carved them to restore their shape. The surface was coated wish plaster and sanded to a smooth finish, allowing the paint to be reapplied, bringing this 10 year old icon back to life.

haunted house front porch
This haunted house facade was shipped without a front porch. A functional deck was build and integrated into the existing structure.

reinforced stage bed
For the Jason Universe Survive the Night Experience, I created a high strength wooden bed with allowed performers to safely implement active scares. Edges are rounded smooth for no sharp corners.
unconventional building materials
The theming for this area required the use of two types of bamboo wall paneling. Set dressing with these materials requires a delicate hand and unconventional mounting techniques.

Using the provided ground plans, I built a 9 piece platform layout in 3 days, 2 additional days were used to add railings and industrial detailing including an 8 foot saw backdrop.
SPAMALOT
This Trojan rabbit was a favorite of the students, but was falling apart due to its cardboard infrastructure. I disassembled the rabbit and restored its shape with wood framing, and improved the assembly.

PUFFS
Three days were given to produce a functioning set with four doors and a step through window. Using existing flats, I built four solid wood doors with heraldic shields. Stone archways made from foam were added around each door way, and a mitered walk through frame was added to allow for actors to step through.
Isolated location
The camp is located in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. Due to the isolated location, construction supplies were limited. Improvisation and creative thinking was paramount in getting sets functional in the compressed time frame.
